Waterloo Wellington Knowledge Mobilization Community

The Waterloo Wellington Knowledge Mobilization Community is an informal group of knowledge mobilization practitioners seeking to develop new skills, share best practices, and connect with peers. We meet a few times a year for workshops, discussions and networking. We also share information about jobs, funding, projects or other opportunities via our listserv.

Members are committed to bridging the gap between best available knowledge mobilization evidence and practice. We are focused on sharing resources and ideas to create a strong community in the Guelph, Wellington, Kitchener & Waterloo region.

Members of our KMb community reside all over the Wellington and Waterloo regions. We come from academia, government, not-for-profit, private businesses, and other organizations. We work on issues as diverse as agriculture, water, health, energy, technology, social justice, education, and many others – we believe strongly in the importance of sharing KMb learnings between sectors. Although most of our members work on KMb initiatives (including research, evaluation, program management, and communications), we also welcome those new to (or interested in) KMb.
